Shift: Day Shift. 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

This position reports to our Purchasing Manager and is a key member of the LNK purchasing team.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Review and process departmental purchase requisitions daily. *Execute Purchase Order placement with suppliers and ensure term and conditions of purchase orders are met for materials procured. *
  • Monitor open purchase orders to make sure the product is delivered on time to meet production requirements.
  • Source, analyze quotes and negotiate with vendors to obtain the best delivered costs.
  • Performs other duties as necessary and as assigned by manager.
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Must be proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word)
  • Must possess excellent analytical, organizational and communicational skills
  • Ability to function under minimal supervision.
  • Bi-lingual English/Spanish a plus.
  • Strong communication skills in writing, and orally with keen attention to detail

Education and Experience:

  • 3 years of administrative experience in a high-volume office required.
  • Purchasing experience preferred.

Work Environment:

  • In person. There is no remote option for this role.
  • Overtime may be required from time to time.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and computer work.
