LNDC is Hiring an Accountant Near Hyattsville, MD
We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented accountant to keep our financial information in order and up to date. You’ll be in charge of bookkeeping, producing financial reports, and recording accurate information in QuickBooks.
Compensation:$75,000 - $120,000 DOE
Responsibilities:- Perform bookkeeping duties: Maintain data on financial statements
- Ensure all books reconcile with bank statements and prepare financial statements
- Properly record financial transactions
- Verify accuracy within day books and all ledgers
- Oversee payroll so employees are paid accurately and in a timely manner
- Review accounts receivable aging reports and assist with direct reports for collections
- Supervise the payment process to vendors and subcontractors
- Monitor daily cash balances to ensure requirements are met
- Strong knowledge of QuickBooks, Excel, and basic accounting systems
- Exceptional knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- Must possess exceptional communication, problem-solving, and time management skills
- 5 years of experience (construction preferred), Licensed CPA preferred
