Job Description – Field Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service.
• Perform installation, commissioning, and maintenance testing of low, medium, and high voltage electrical equipment, including:
• Transformers, power cables, circuit breakers, switchgear, etc.
• Work with engineers to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve problems.
• Work as part of a team to accomplish a common goal.
• Prepare and review test documentation.
• Prepare and submit daily reports.
• Perform safety analysis of jobs and tasks.
• Use and continually develop interpersonal skills.

Skills & Knowledge

• Ability to interact with clients and colleagues.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Organizational skills including time management, attention to detail, and multitasking.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
• Knowledge and expertise of electrical design, maintenance, and commissioning
• Interaction with clients, customers, contractors, and others

Qualifications and Experience

• High school diploma required, Associates or technical school certification is considered an asset.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to legally work in the US.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to perform physical labor including climbing ladders, standing for extended periods of time, drive regularly, fly regularly.
• Must be able to perform work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Must be able to carry and lift up to 70 lbs.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
• Must be able to travel up to 70% of the time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $52,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
