Adult Home Health (RN)
We have an immediate need for a compassionate Private Duty Nurse who is seeking a full-time or part-time position with an established pediatric home health agency. The successful candidate will provide one-on-one nursing care to pediatrics patients. Multiple patient locations and shifts available in the San Antonio area.
Description
As a pediatric Private Duty Nurse, you will be responsible for monitoring and providing medical care for pediatric patients in their home. You will collaborate with the healthcare team and family members to implement a personalized care plan and ensure the patient receives optimal medical attention in accordance with federal, state, and professional standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
Deliver and coordinate patient care in compliance with physician orders
Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies
Observe and assess patient condition and report changes to supervisor or physician
Document activities, assessments and care in a timely manner using EMR (KanTime)
Educate patient and family members
Job Requirements
Graduate of accredited nursing school
State nursing license or eligible in Texas
BLS/CPR Certification
Current Texas Driver’s license
Reliable transportation and current auto insurance
6 months experience in clinical care setting
Preferred experience:
G-Tube
Tracheostomy (Trach)
Ventilators
BiPAP and CPAP
