LMLC OPERATIONS LLC is Hiring a Maintenance Technician Near Big Sky, MT

Lone Mountain Land Company (LMLC) manages the planning, entitlement, building, marketing, and sale of premier real estate communities around Big Sky, Montana. The company supports world- class operations at Spanish Peaks Mountain Club and Moonlight Basin and oversees real estate activities at Spanish Peaks, Moonlight Basin, Big Sky Town Center, and other projects in the Big Sky region.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Facility Manager, the Maintenance Technician is upkeep and maintenance of LMLC managed properties. This position will work with the broader facility management team to ensure all properties are kept in their best operational condition at all times and respond to facility issues when they arise.

Job Duties

  • Management of interior and exterior common spaces.
  • Perform routine building maintenance tasks, including, but not limited to: Minor plumbing repair, general carpentry, painting, drywall repair, upkeep, diagnosis, and repair of appliances, maintenance of heating/venting systems, including filter replacement.
  • Oversee unit turns, including renovations, repairs, and cleaning.
  • Install and/or replace equipment using hand or power tools.
  • Responsible for ensuring utility systems meet internal standards and external regulatory requirements.
  • Manage tenant relations and coordinate requests for repairs and maintenance, lease issues and other tenant concerns.
  • Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established policies, procedures, and standards of service to achieve the overall objectives of this position.
  • Meet departmental productivity, organization, punctuality/attendance, and consistency standards.
  • Maintain a positive and respectful attitude.
  • Treat tenants, guests, vendors, and co-workers with professionalism and respect always.
  • Maintain a clean and neat appearance at all times.
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with all co-workers, supervisors, managers, and directors.
  • Perform work in a safe and high-quality manner.
  • Project a favorable image of Lone Mountain Land Company always.
  • Treat all company property, supplies, and equipment responsibly.
  • Must be able to work flexible work hours/schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Long hours may be required due to business demands.

Skills

  • Ability to problem-solve and/or know when to ask for management assistance.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
  • Ability to work on feet for an extended period of time.

Qualifications

  • Minimum three years’ experience in facilities maintenance.
  • General knowledge of all areas of building maintenance.
  • Must be dependable and available to work within the property on weekends, nights and/or holidays based on business demands.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to frequently inspect the project and may be exposed to ongoing construction and various weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment may range from moderate to loud. This position is performed in outside weather conditions.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to walk and stand for; must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 6 hours in length. The position requires manual dexterity, grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, and climbing. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. The employee must also occasionally lift and move up to 25 pounds.
