LMI Packaging is Hiring a Slitter Machine Operator Near Pleasant Prairie, WI
Under the direction of the Shift Supervisor, the Slitter Operator is responsible for setting-up, operating and maintaining the Slitter machine.
- Setting up slitting jobs and adjusting knives to specified settings.
- Maintain the slitter machine while running at full speed.
- Ability to fill out roll tags, skid tags, make box labels.
- Responsible for the quality of work and implementation of the food safety/quality procedures applicable to the process that they perform.
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Prior experience in packaging or food manufacturing a plus.
