Immediate employment opportunities for experienced Commercial Plumbing Superintendent to join LMG Construction . LMG is looking for the best talent. The LMG Superintendent will be responsible for the direct supervision of all field personnel in the proper installation of the plumbing system in its entirety, according to applicable codes, plans, and LMG quality standards. The Superintendent will be responsible for coordinating with LMG project management to coordinate scheduling of required manpower and materials to maintain job progress objectives. The Superintendent will work with project management to set and maintain field process and production rates, and follow through with field staff to deliver accordingly. This role is an essential role to our success and requires excellent communication skills with groups of employees from all backgrounds.

What you will need to succeed in this position:

To succeed in the Superintendent role here at LMG you must be a highly motivated self-starter dedicated to delivering a quality finish product in a safe and timely manner. You must possess the ability to concisely communicate with field staff, project management, general superintendents, and other subcontractors to anticipate and proactively address issues as they may arise. Must be able to effectively mentor and develop staff, including being thoroughly involved in training apprentices.

Skills, Qualifications, and Required experience:

• Superintendent experience 3 years
• Experience in plumbing industry 10 years
• Strong working knowledge of plumbing codes (both UPC and IPC) and KCMO standards
• Experience managing 8 employees
• Experience in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel & Word)
• Excellent Communication skills
• Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects
• Ability to complete projects timely and accurately
• Detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
• Strong desire and ability to train and educate field staff
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Ability to do on screen take offs
• Working knowledge of Procore
• Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment
• OSHA 10 Required (OSHA 30 preferred)
• Experience in the multi-family and senior living facilities
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize accordingly to existing conditions
