JOB SUMMARY:
The Materials Superintendent is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Materials department under the guidance of the Materials Manager. The Materials Superintendent will work closely with supervisors to provide guidance in department related issues.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Direct the warehouse team in their efforts to achieve all departmental performance objectives.

Authorities as detailed in our Quality System for ISO/TS16949 2009 including but not limited to Corrective and Preventative Actions, Control of Documents, Control of Records, Internal Audits and Control of Nonconforming Product.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Certification/Licensure:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of equivalent education and work experience.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in high-volume manufacturing environment. Must have knowledge of JIT communication devices, MRP systems, Manufacturing Pull Systems and Value Stream Mapping.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL ABILITIES:
Work performed in an office and manufacturing plant environments. Normal mobility to move around an office environment, able to conduct normal amount of work at a computer. Continuously walks and stands.
Frequently performs fine finger movements, grips/grasps, push/pulls, bends/stoops, and lifts and carries parts up to thirty (30) lbs. Must be available to work any shift as well as weekends and holidays as needed.
