JOB TITLE : Head of Customer Solutions - Current Account Overdrafts & Fixed Savings

LOCATION(S) : Flexible (London, Bristol, Halifax and Leeds)

HOURS : Full time

WORKING PATTERN : Hybrid, 40% (or two days) in an office site

About this opportunity

Everyday Banking is the at the heart of our growth strategy with our Current Account and Overdrafts, Savings and Payments products supporting our mission to provide the best products for our UK customers and to grow relationships of the bank.

We have created brand-new roles and seeking individuals who’ll continue to lead on solving customer and commercial problems.

You’ll have a deep understanding of our commercial drivers and the OKRs that we’re driving, and you’ll make sure we’re constantly understanding our performance against these.

  • This is an inspirational leadership role whose purpose is to deliver the commercial results of the organisation (revenue) driven by our products and balance sheet;
  • ensuring good customer outcomes for the customers who experience our products; ownership of risk decisions based on regulatory compliance;

the delivery of customer led experiences, products and solutions in partnership with the platforms and through the product owners.

What you can expect to do..!

Deliver the commercial revenue and product budget targets

Deliver the customer volume targets

Develop, shape and deliver the commercial objectives for the business, setting stretching P&L goals, managing performance and leading major strategic change from inception to execution

Ownership of the risk decisions and expert regulatory knowledge to deliver products that meet regulations such as Consumer Duty

Accountable for an effective system of risk management and internal controls to identify, assess, monitor, control and mitigate risks to the Group in line with risk appetite, including adherence to the Group’s policies, procedures, statutory and regulatory responsibilities, and fully satisfy legal and regulatory requirements

Ensure solutions are mobile first, personalised and add value by implementing the consumer relationships strategy

You’ll have a Product Innovation & Development attitude - Redefining thinking and inspiring the conceptualisation of new and innovative products that create significant business impact.

Using external expertise to ensure an effective delivery of these products to market.

  • Product Delivery focused - Leading improvements on product development process and delivery using new agile methodology, techniques, tools, etc.
  • You’ll be a People Leader Inspiring, empowering and inclusive to lead your teams through change and provide the stretch, coaching, feedback and development to create an extraordinary environment to come to work.
