LLA Therapy, LLC is Hiring a Billing Coordinator Near Fairlawn, OH
- The Billing Coordinator performs routine clerical and administrative support by handling the clinic and patient billing processes. Responsible for processing authorizations and denials. Performs other specific job-related duties as directed by the supervisor and/or building administrator.
- Hours and days of operation: 9:00-5:00, M-F
- Work Hours:
- Full time employment is 30-40 hours/weekly.
- Authorizations:
- Obtain prior authorizations for new and existing patients
- Track and request authorizations in a timely manner
- Monitor visit limits and communicate information to families about options for private pay or alternative funding if authorization is not approved
- Request retro authorizations and authorization appeals when necessary
- Denials
- Monitor denials daily submitting corrected claims/appeals as necessary
- Identify changes with insurance company policies to ensure compliant billing
- Identify denied payment trends by insurance companies
- Maintain good communication with families regarding billing issues.
- Accounts Receivable
- Run A/R report and investigate any outstanding claims
- Process Credit Card Transactions
- High school graduate, or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years related experience in an office function
- Must be proficient in English
- Proficient with Google sheets, documents, calendar, meet, etc.
- Positive and goal-oriented, willing to accept the challenge of new assignments and be able to work well with others.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with emphasis on teamwork, customer service, and safe working practices.
- Compatible with company culture and core values.
