Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Property Manager, you will assist in overseeing the daily operations of our properties, ensuring a positive experience for our tenants and maintaining the overall functionality of the property.

• Help manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the apartment communities, including leasing, resident relations, maintenance, and administration.
• Help supervise a team of maintenance staff, providing guidance, and support to ensure timely completion of work orders, unit turnover and maintenance requests.
• Assist property manager with administrative tasks.
• Develop and maintain a positive and professional relationship with residents, addressing their concerns and ensuring their satisfaction.
• Help coordinate and oversee the leasing process, including marketing, applicant screenings, lease signings, and move-ins/move-outs.
• Quickly and thoroughly follow up with potential tenants and all leads. Give exceptional tours and close leases.
• Answer questions from customers & tenants and kindly provide accurate information.
• Assist with rent collection and financial reporting.
• Participate in past-due account collection through telephone and or email.
• Know and present the features and benefits of the properties at all opportunities.
• Daily filing.

Qualifications:

• This position requires driving a personal vehicle. The applicant must possess and maintain a current, valid driver's license.
• High school or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 years of progressive experience in property management, preferably in apartment communities.
• Weekend availability.
• Proven experience in supervising maintenance and or vendors.
• Strong knowledge of property management principles, leasing, marketing, and maintenance practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with residents, staff, vendors, and colleagues.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Demonstrated ability to handle and resolve conflicts or complaints effectively.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of local laws, regulations, and fair housing practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Familiarity with property management and real estate marketing software (AppFolio, Zillow, LoopNet, Co-Star) is a plus.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
