LJP Waste Solutions is Hiring a PT 3rd Shift Equipment Operator Near Mankato, MN

LJP Waste Solutions, a leading Environmental Solutions Provider, is seeking a PT Equipment Operator.

PT Position: 2-3 shifts per week, 16-20 hours per week.
Overnight shift: 12:00 am- 8:00 am. May also pick up shifts for other employees.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:
The Loader Operator is responsible for sorting and loading commercial and residential waste disposed of at a collection facility.

Typical Duties:
  • Operation of Front End Loader, Skid loader, Shredder and Semi Truck safely and efficiently.
  • Maintenance of facility as needed. May include skid loader sweeping, vacuuming, mechanized equipment pick up of loose recyclables and trash.
  • Daily Equipment Inspections (DEI) and cleaning of all equipment as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Previous forklift experience with ability to obtain forklift certification
  • Able to work in an indoor/outdoor environment in all weather conditions
  • Must have experience operating or ability to learn to operate a skid loader
  • Must have adequate interpersonal communication skills
  • Must have observational skills sufficient to identify inappropriate items in delivered waste and refuse
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds many times throughout a shift
