Job Summary
Livingood’s Appliance, Savannah’s largest independent home appliance store is seeking a skilled, dependable, and safety conscious Warehouse Associate. We are looking for a candidate that is available immediately.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Receiving and inspecting incoming merchandise.
- Forklift/ Clamp/ Reach Truck Operation
- Pulling and staging products for delivery
- Maintaining the organization of the warehouse area.
- Assisting in others areas as needed and performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
- Physical ability to move large, bulky appliances.
- Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties.
- Forklift, Reach Truck, and/or Clamp operation experience is desired.
- Prior warehouse and receiving experience is desired.
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to successfully complete the pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background check.
- Ability to work a schedule based on business needs (Monday-Saturday).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, including written correspondence.
- Good organization, time-management and customer service skills.
