Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team. As a Landscape Laborer, you will be responsible for assisting in various landscaping tasks such as hardscape installation (pavers), tree and plant installation, irrigation and drainage installation, digging, rock and boulder installation, and artificial turf installation. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation of hardscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls
-Installation of various plant material
- Assist in digging trenches for irrigation systems or planting new trees and shrubs
- Help build and maintain garden beds by planting flowers, shrubs, and other vegetation
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment such as hand saws, trimmers, and blowers
- Ensure proper disposal of yard waste and debris
Experience:
- Previous experience in landscaping or related field is preferred
- Familiarity with hardscape installation techniques is a plus
- Knowledge of tree care practices including pruning and trimming is beneficial
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks for extended periods of time
