$17 per hour, part-time or full-time positions.

Monday-Friday positions with occasional rotating Saturday or Sunday daytime hours.

The LIFE community based in Plymouth is seeking a full time or part time Job Coach to provide counseling, training, and individual instruction to our wonderful LIFE clients to help them reach their full potential through workplace training in their workplaces that are located throughout the Plymouth area.

• Must live in or around the Plymouth, MA area.
• Employment type can be full-time or part-time. We can be somewhat flexible around your needs.

Responsibilities:

• Be outgoing and organized.
• Have excellent verbal and training skills; some computer skills needed.
• Enjoy working with people of different age groups, cultures, and abilities.
• Be able to build confidence and independence in our clients in the workplace.
• Provide individuals transportation to and from employment sites. Will need to use personal vehicle much of the time (employees are reimbursed for mileage)
• Must have the stamina to be present in the varied workplaces with the client to provide proper job coaching support.
• Maintain sanitary conditions of workspaces and vehicles; continually works with clients to encourage their understanding and compliance with LIFE guidelines and their workplace guidelines to prevent the spread of COVID-19 (e.g., uses personal protective equipment, social distancing, etc.)

Requirements:

• Patience and kindness
• Experience in retail, restaurant, hospitality or training background excellent.
• Experience with the population we work with excellent, but we will train the right candidate. (Volunteer work counts!)
• Must be 18 years old with a high school diploma (or equivalent), some college or technical coursework, or personal experience is ideal.
• Professionalism.

Must have current certification or be willing to attend training through LIFE for CPR/First Aid (great if you already have) and be willing to complete any LIFE or DDS required/recommended training classes.

Must have a valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record and dependable transportation. Must be able to pass CORI and fingerprinting background checks through our governing agency (DDS).
