As a leader for the Environmental Services team, the Maintenance Supervisor oversees the day-to-day scheduling and activities of the maintenance department by directing and coordinating our team.

Provides leadership, ensures work assignments are completed correctly, and is responsible for performing all maintenance and turnover related job duties for the campus. Must be able to participate in on call schedule and work evenings, weekends, holidays and during inclement weather as needed. Salary depends on experience with a starting range of $65k/annually.

Maintenance Supervisor position highlights:

• Oversees installation, maintenance and repair of equipment, machinery, physical structures, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Maintains work order records, equipment service records, and reports as required. Follows-up on work completed for results and conformance with company codes and standards.
• Provides scheduling and oversight for on-call coverage, snow removal, and emergency situations.
• Plans, coordinates, and completes annual unit inspections of apartments and common spaces and timely completion of all work orders from the annual unit inspections.
• Oversees appropriate Federal, State, and Local inspections regarding building construction and safety (such as Life Safety Inspections.). Handles compliance and education concerning all OSHA and related standards pertaining to work site safety. Conducts and documents all fire drills.

Requirements:

• Five years’ experience leading a maintenance team in LTC preferred
• Experience in a supervisory role required
• Solid knowledge of building systems, cleaning processes and infection control, along with regulatory codes and standards (DOH, DPW, LS)
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities, has ability to prioritize work within given deadlines and to address emergencies as they may occur
• Must have a high school diploma. Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
