Livewire is Hiring an Electrical Project Manager (Construction) Near Calumet, IL

LiveWire Construction, Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join their fast-paced, growing organization. This position comes with opportunity for on the job learning, cross-functional training and professional growth. This position requires a minimum of 7 yrs. experience as a Project Manager in the electrical construction industry. This is a full-time, salaried position with benefits.

The Project Manager will be a leader in the department and be the owner of several concurrently running projects. The PM will be charged with assisting in growing a strong, robust department. This position will report directly to the Project Executive. Alternate office reporting location in Oak Brook, IL.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Contract Administration
  • Scheduling, Delay and Claims Management
  • Material and Subcontractor Buyouts
  • Project Preconstruction Preparation
  • Project Financial Budget vs. Actuals Management
  • Field Productivity Tracking
  • Project Safety
  • Project Billing and Cashflow Management
  • Change Order Management
  • Project Scheduling
  • Project Closeout
  • Take the lead in project planning

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience as Electrical Project Manager
  • Commercial, Institutional, Industrial experience
  • Willingness to work long hours as needed
  • Ability to read plans and specifications, understand installation drawings
  • Estimating capabilities including labor factor analysis and modifications
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficient, Excel expert

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Computerized estimating experience is preferred
  • MS Office proficient

Compensation:

  • Salary based upon experience
