• Supports pharmacological services by stocking, assembling, and distributing medications.
• Enter and maintain prescription data using our computer system
• Answer incoming phone calls and field patient questions
• Contact doctor’s offices or hospitals to clarify prescription information
• Disburse completed and confirmed prescriptions to patients
• Answer patient questions and address customer service issues when they arise
• Assist the pharmacist with maintaining the ongoing medication inventory and place medication orders when instructed
• Sort, stock, label medication and monitor inventory
• Undertake administrative tasks (e.g. record-keeping) as assigned
• Comply with all security measures and quality standards
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Perform weekly will-call bag check
• Daily will-call verify and contact patients to pick up the prescription
• Review prescription and OTC department inventory and remove expire/near expire medication beginning of every month

• Pharmacy Technician Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
