Horsham Center for Jewish Life, located in charming North Wales, is searching for a Unit Clerk to join our team!
Day Shift Schedule
- Monday-Friday
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides secretarial support to our Transitional Care Unit as directed by the Unit Manager, DON, and ADON.
Utilizes computer systems to track information, communicate, and maintain correspondence.
Schedules and coordinates appointments for TCU patients.
Arranges transportation to/from appointments.
Maintains list of hair salon requests for TCU patients, and communicates with the hair stylist.
Interacts with residents and staff as necessary to carry out the objectives of the department.
Acknowledges visitors who enter and exit the TCU.
Maintains clean work area by keeping office area neat and orderly.
Responds to phone calls, emails, and messages in a timely manner.
Other duties as assigned by nursing management
QUALIFICATIONS
- Medical secretary experience required
- Long term care/nursing home experience required
- Computer skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Professional communication skills
