Description
The Community Director position is considered to be critical to the success of the community in the areas of cash flow, community appearance, vendors, administration, resident relations, customer service, and occupancy. In addition, the Community Director is responsible for assessing the strengths and weakness of the leasing and maintenance teams and managing employee incentives accordingly, while also creating and nurturing a sense of community and focus on customer service standards. The Community Director will act as a troubleshooter in all aspects of community management regarding the implementation of the designated budget and management plan to accomplish the goals established for the community. The Community Director may have responsibility for a community as an on-site manager or responsibility for multiple communities to improve the performance of the community.
Requirements
5 years’ experience as a Community Director.
Demonstrated ability to handle duties above and beyond primary responsibilities of a Community Director.
Demonstrated ability to excel in a majority of the duties and responsibilities of a Community Director.
Demonstrated and developed organization and administrative abilities.
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
Detailed oriented with ability to analyze management issues and utilize superb problem solving skills in decision-making.
Must possess excellent computer skills and proficiency in Entrata.
