As part of our continual growth, we are currently seeking skilled and compassionate Per Diem X-Ray Technologists to join our hard working team in all our Hoboken, New Jersey location

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES:

· Perform diagnostic imaging procedures per physician orders

· Prepare patients for the procedure by verifying patient’s health information and reason for the imaging

· Position patients properly to obtain the best possible images and adjust equipment accordingly

· Follow established protocols and safety procedures to minimize radiation exposure to patients, staff, and self.

· Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring proper functionality and cleanliness.

· Update patients record with details in regards to the imaging received and the results in a timely manner

· Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, addressing concerns and maintaining confidentiality

· Collaborate with the providers on the results of the images

· Be willing to cross train in medical receptionist and/or medical assistant duties to ensure all staff members can assist during the day to reduce high patient volume times

· Be a supportive team player for all urgent care center co-workers

Requirements

EDUCATION:

· High School diploma required

· Valid certification in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.

· Current State licensure as an X-Ray Technologist

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

· Minimum of one (1) year of experience in similar position

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

· Understanding of medical terminology and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

· Strong attention to detail and ability to adapt to changing priorities

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast paced environment

· Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team

· Excellent customer service skills.

· Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

· Occasionally required to sit

· Occasionally required to lift moderate weights (25-50 pounds).
