Vaco is hiring a Payroll Coordinator located in Jax, FL. Position is onsite, located on the Southside, paying $54k/year.

The Payroll Coordinator provides excellent customer service to employees and can directly support the Payroll Supervisor by working diligently and assisting in weekly and monthly processes. The Payroll Coordinator has a great eye for detail and has strong organizational skills. The ideal candidate is reliable, honest, and able to work under pressure. Other duties include administrative reporting such as expenses, travel, and Comdata reporting in addition to handling garnishments and tax submissions.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll in Paycom and UKG for employees in the organization on a weekly and monthly basis
• Handle garnishment and payroll tax forms
• Report to department supervisor regarding daily activities and issues
• Address and resolve employee complaints relating to the payroll system
• Work with company database programs to reconcile payroll for the bank
• Handle check requests, ACH's, and wires
• Primary resource for reporting employee expenses, travel, and Comdata

Qualifications

• Good understanding of the common fiscal procedures
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong computer literacy including Microsoft Office applications
• Exceptional multitasking and organizational skills
• Able to refine processes and suggest improvements
