Responsibilities

• Monitor cash flow/liquidity
• Prepare monthly donation reports for Board of Directors
• Perform transaction-processing operations
• Cash Receipts
• AP Invoice Entry/ Create Invoices
• Maintain an organized and orderly filing system of all accounting documents
• Collaborate with external auditors as needed
• Report to Bookkeeper
• Maintain a comprehensive system of accounting records
• Account for any budget variances and report significant discrepancies
• Recommend benchmarks for the measurement of company financial performance goals
• Schedule payments for accounts payable promptly
• Maintain a system of controls over all transactions
• Record fundraising event proceeds
• Experience with grants/ grant receipts is a plus!

Competencies

• Must be proficient in QuickBooks Online Plus and Microsoft Excel
• 1 years of accounting experience
• Knowledge of accountancy
• Knowledge of non-profits is a plus!
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• High attention to detail
• Ability to work independently
• Self-sufficient
