Working in the Product Security group, our interns will get the opportunity to work on security engineering aspects of medical devices that will become real products that help patients around the world. Areas interns will be exposed to:

• Secure software design methodology including secure software architecture, development, security testing, and vulnerability management.

• Perform system and component level security testing, and vulnerability analysis.

• Implementation and verification of cybersecurity controls in medical devices and cloud environment.

• Technical communication with various functional teams in product development.

• Regulatory requirements for security and privacy in product development.

• Other activities supporting secure software development and maintenance.

Qualifications:

• Working towards degree in Information Security, Computer, Software, Electrical, Biomedical Engineering or a related field.

• Experience in software or firmware programming (C, C , C#, Python, Java)and/or information security.

• Previous project experience (past internships, research, project teams, etc.).

• GPA of 3.6 or higher.

Additional Information:

• Location: Houston, TX, however remote candidates with exceptional skills will be considered.

• Pay: $28/hr.

• Internship Duration: Expected dates will be from 5/27/24 - 8/9/24.
