Little Wonders Montessori is looking for a Full-time Primary Assistant Teacher to join our Montessori Community! Our school is a brand new school in Prosper ISD and we provide a year-round preschool program for children starting from 12 months to 6 years old. Little Wonders is welcoming educators with a passion for teaching and nurturing young children, helping them build a bright future.

Montessori or childcare experience is preferred but not mandatory. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as excellent customer service skills. Must be energetic, kind and enthusiastic.

Responsibilities include but are not limited:

• preparing the environment
• lesson presentations
• keeping students engaged with age appropriate activities following the Montessori philosophy and methodology
• Facilitating positive communication with children
• communicating with parents in written and verbal from
• Diaper changing (if needed), potty training, and lots of patience.
• Setting up the classroom for next day school
• Cleans the classroom by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning the restroom, sanitizing toys and surfaces, and disposing of trash
• Helps with meal and snack preparation, and modeling table manners by sitting with the children at family style meals.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
