Little Wise Owls is Hiring a Daycare Teacher Near Philadelphia, PA

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Daycare Teacher to join our team. As a Daycare Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children. If you have experience in early childhood education, enjoy working with children, and have a passion for their development, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
- Provide a safe and supportive environment for children
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play and educational activities
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the daycare facility
- Supervise children at all times to ensure their safety
- Assist with mealtime routines and promote healthy eating habits
- Collaborate with other daycare staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:
- Previous experience in childcare, babysitting, or early childhood education is preferred
- Knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate teaching methods
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans and activities
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents/guardians, and colleagues
- First aid and CPR certification is desirable
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- A genuine love for working with children

Note: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.09 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
