Job Overview:
The production team member is responsible for ensuring that products are produced efficiently, on time, on budget, and to standards.

This position may perform tasks in a variety of areas within the production department, such as baking, mixing, sugaring, icing, and packaging.

Duties:
- Work closely with the Production and Quality Assurance leader or designee to ensure proper ingredients, proportions and recipe quantities are used.

- Check production recipe formulas to determine pans and batches needed to complete daily production requirements.

- Empty ingredients into a mixing bowl or other machine for mixing or baking ingredients according to specific recipe formula instructions.

- Read and record all products, lot codes, quantities used, times and temperatures.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the production area
- Follow all safety protocols and adhere to company policies
- Perform basic math calculations for measuring ingredients and quantities
- Assist in maintaining inventory levels and tracking product usage
- Support the production team in meeting daily targets and deadlines

- Add date and code of finished products packaged according to specifications.

Requirements:
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred
- Knowledge of HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) principles is a plus
- Mechanical knowledge for operating machinery is desirable
- Familiarity with food processing regulations, including FDA (Food and Drug Administration) guidelines and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects as required, must be able to lift and carry up to 50 #'s.

Pay: $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
