Little Venice Restaurant is Hiring a Floor Manager Near Binghamton, NY

We are looking for a floor manager to oversee restaurant operations, including welcoming and serving our guests. We are family-owned business and pride ourselves on our hospitality and family atmosphere.

Floor managers responsibilities include delegating tasks to staff, addressing and interacting with guests, and ensuring a smooth shift.

If you have excellent organizational and team management skills and at least 3 years of restaurant experience this is the job for you.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Delegate tasks to restaurant staff and supervise their performance
  • Oversee the daily operations of the floor, ensuring smooth and efficient service
  • Help staff resolve on-the-job challenges
  • Ensure guest satisfaction and gracefully handle any complaints
  • Open or close the restaurant
  • Report maintenance and training needs
  • Assist in day to operations of the business
  • Maintain a professional presents at all times

Experience

  • Previous experience in a similar role as a Floor Manager or Assistant Manager in the hospitality industry
  • Proficiency point-of-sale systems
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills to handle customer issues or operational challenges
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
