Cook
Little Tikes is looking for a cook to prepare food to CACFP specifications. Position is part time. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday only. Hours are 9:00am-12:30pm. Cook duties will consist of prepping and plating lunch. Will also be responsible for prepping snack if needed, cleaning and laundry.
Responsibilities
- Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
- Cook menu items.
- Clean up station and take care of leftover food
- Stock inventory appropriately
- Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and children
- Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
