Little Star Preschool is Hiring a Preschool Director Near San Francisco, CA

Little Star Preschool Too is looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic, and community focused Program Director to join our team of passionate teachers working with children ages 2.5 to 5 years and their families.

Our amazing staff works together to develop and implement a quality and age appropriate program that encourages curiosity, confidence and a love for learning. We look to create and maintain a warm, safe and nurturing learning environment that encourages play, exploration, communication and lots and lots of fun!

We want an energetic and compassionate leader who is flexible and can adjust to any situation that may arise. Our school believes that children are valuable members of society, understands that communication is key, and knows that community and teamwork really do make the dream work!

Salary:
Starting at $72,000 - $80,000 based on education & experience

Benefits:

Schedule:

Qualifications:
- Child Development Program Director Permit
- Site Supervisor Permit
- 2 years experience as a Preschool Director
- 2 years preschool teaching experience preferred
- Able to make quick and sound decisions
- Have a calm, patient and friendly demeanor and a strong sense of responsibility
- Strong leadership & management skills
- Reliable, organized, detail oriented and has the ability to multi-task & work
independently
- Excellent computer verbal & written communication skills
- Outstanding interpersonal, problem solving & conflict resolution skills
- Have a positive attitude, flexible and an enthusiastic team player

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide strong leadership to manage staff and maintain a positive employer/employee relationship
- Promote teamwork, keep staff motivated and help resolve conflicts
- Recruit, hire, train, supervise and evaluate staff
- Develop a strong working relationship with children and families through good
communication and daily interactions
- Provide leadership in developing curriculum for a creative and high quality program
- Conduct parent tours, manage enrollment of incoming and current families and waiting
list
- Coordinate and plan special school events, fundraisers and field trips
- Oversee daily staff schedule
- Manage staff and children’s files
- Assist, sub and observe in the classroom as needed
- Oversee Parent/Teacher conferences, student progress reports in collaboration with
teachers
- Monitor all aspects of the school’s daily operations and administration
- Implementation school’s philosophy
- Assure compliance with Title 22 licensing regulations and correct deficiencies as needed
- Establish a strong working relationship and an open line of communication with owners
