Job Description:

Little Star Pediatric Urgent Care is seeking a dedicated and experienced X-Ray Technician to join our team in Rancho Cucamonga. In this part-time position, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality pediatric X-ray services to our young patients.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging on pediatric patients following established protocols and procedures.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during the imaging process.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to obtain necessary patient information and ensure accurate imaging results.
• Maintain and operate X-ray equipment, ensuring it meets quality and safety standards.
• Adhere to infection control and radiation safety guidelines.
• Document patient information, procedures, and results accurately in electronic health records.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements:

• Valid certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT)
• Reliable transportation and the ability to respond to calls in a timely fashion.
• Previous experience working with pediatric patients is preferred.
• Knowledge of pediatric anatomy and physiology.
• Familiarity with digital X-ray technology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
• Current CPR/BLS certification is a plus.
