Great opportunity to serve seniors in a home-like retirement community! The Little Sisters of the Poor at St. Martin's Home have been taking care of the needy elderly for over 150 years. The Sisters are known for the compassionate and stellar care they give our Residents every day. We have a full time day shift Hospitality Aide position available! No experience is necessary but you must be sensitive to the needs of the elderly and display a willingness to listen and learn. Our facility is clean, organized and COVID-free. This position's focus is to render assistance to the nursing staff by performing duties to personally care for our Residents, such as:
  • Preparing Resident rooms by replacing linens, turning down beds, emptying trash, disinfecting high-touch areas, etc.
  • Transporting Residents to the Chapel, activities, physical therapy, etc.
  • Retrieving meal carts and checking food temperatures to ensure food safety
  • Distributing meals and snacks to residents, returning dishes and sliverware to the Kitchen after meals
  • Engaging residents in conversation and helping them to enjoy activities, such as taking walks, exercise routines, playing games, etc.
