Job Overview:
This is a small daycare center, with capacity for 8 infants ages 6 weeks-18 months.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Director to oversee our educational facility. The Site Director will be responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children, and leading a team of educators.
Duties:
- Develop and implement educational programs that align with childhood development best practices
- Supervise staff, conduct performance evaluations, and provide guidance and support
- Maintain licensing and accreditation standards
- Manage budgets, expenses, and resources effectively
- Communicate with parents, addressing any concerns or inquiries promptly
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Previous experience in a leadership role within a childcare or educational setting
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and classroom management techniques
- Familiarity with daycare operations, special education practices, and infant care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and external stakeholders
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Classroom experience
- Experience working with students in various age groups
- Background in babysitting, nannying, or early childhood education
