Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Daycare Teacher to join our team. As a Daycare Teacher, you will play a crucial role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow. Your responsibilities will include supervising children, implementing age-appropriate activities, and ensuring their well-being throughout the day.

Duties:
- Create and implement lesson plans that promote the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of children
- Provide a safe and supportive environment for children to explore and learn
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns
- Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their individuality and self-expression
- Assist with mealtime routines, including feeding and promoting healthy eating habits
- Administer basic first aid when necessary and ensure the safety of all children in your care
- Collaborate with other daycare staff to create a cohesive learning environment

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in childcare or early childhood education is preferred
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques for young children
- Familiarity with classroom management strategies
- Understanding of childhood development stages and milestones
- First aid certification is a plus
- A genuine passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential

We would love someone that will provide a safe and loving environment, supervise, and teach students using the requirements set up by Bright from the Start of Georgia to teach basic skills, must be able to communicate with parents and work as a team.

Note: All positions at our daycare center are paid positions.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
