Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our team. As a Teacher, you will be responsible for educating and caring for children in a classroom setting. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who have experience working with students and are passionate about early childhood education.
You will also be covering sick employees, vacation weeks and more. I need someone who can come in at the drop of a hat occasionally and pitch in where we need them. Flexible scheduling for the fall when NCMC starts back for college students wanting to apply. Summer will be more hours than the fall.
Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
- Teach various subjects, including math and literacy education
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to ensure student engagement and behavior management
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents or guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a comprehensive educational program
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress, activities, and any concerns
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom and create a positive learning environment
- Familiarity with toddler care and preschool curriculum
- Passion for educating young children and helping them reach their full potential
Note: All positions at our organization are paid, including internships.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.30 - $12.50 per hour
