A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FLOATING - SUBSTITUTE TEACHER

As a full- or part-time Floating - Substitute Teacher, you provide an important service to our childcare center. You function as a substitute for a regular teacher during their absence, sometimes rotating classrooms during the day in order to meet the needs of our daycare center.

As part of a teaching team, you provide quality care and education for a group of young children, toddlers, and infants.

Under the supervision of a lead teacher, you conduct engaging lessons and provide competent supervision of the children.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A FLOATING - SUBSTITUTE TEACHER

High school diploma or equivalent

Are you flexible and able to work with a variety of people? Do you have solid interpersonal and communication skills? Are you dependable?

WORK SCHEDULE FOR A FLOATING - SUBSTITUTE TEACHER

We have both full- and part-time substitute teaching positions available. The full-time schedule is a variable 8-hour shift, Monday - Friday within our operating hours of 6 : 30 am - 5 : 45 pm .

The typical schedule for our part-time floating staff is 6 : 30 am - 9 am and / or 3 : 30 pm - 6 : 00 pm, Monday - Friday.
