About Little Lake:
Little Lake is an interactive indoor play and event space in downtown Lakeland! We are a multifaceted space allowing room for play for children 0 - 10 years old, hosting events, onsite babysitting, and office rental areas to accommodate working parents. There are many sides to Little Lake and we are excited to be the first of our kind in Lakeland!
Must be able to work as needed throughout the week, could be any day of the week. Little Lake is open on Monday - Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM, Saturday from 9 AM to 5 PM, and Sunday from 11 AM to 5 PM.
As a Guest Services Representative, you will be working onsite at our downtown Lakeland location. We are looking for individuals who are fun, creative, and outgoing to engage with adults and children in our play and event space. Job duties will include:
-Open the facility and create a welcoming environment for guests
-Check in/out guests and assist with completion of waivers
-Complete all closing tasks, securing cash, and locking the facility
-Maintain overall cleanliness; tidy and reset items within the play space after each play time slot
-Enforce play space rules and safety regulations and follow proper emergency procedures
-For assigned events: contact guests to confirm event details in advance of event, maintain and procure inventory for parties, and manage the event calendar when booking events
-Report to the Manager to determine other daily duties
** WE ARE SEEKING EXPERTISE OR INTEREST IN ONE OF THE FOLLOWING AREAS:
1. RETAIL - PURCHASING KIDS MERCHANDISE AND APPAREL, STAGING MERCHANDISE, AND EXPANDING ON ONLINE SALES.
2. SOCIAL MEDIA & COMMUNITY RELATIONS - DAILY POSTING OF PICTURES AND CREATION OF REELS, REPRESENTATION OF LITTLE LAKE IN THE COMMUNITY.
3. EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING - DEVELOPMENT OF INTENTIONAL PROGRAMMING AND ACTIVITIES FOR CHILDRENS AND PARENTS.
