FULL TIME 7:30/8:00 AM to 4:30/5:00 PM

Responsibilities for our Infant Teacher

• Provide a safe and loving environment for the infants in his/her care
• Give bottles to infants as provided by parents
• Feed infants' solid foods as age appropriate and provided by food program
• Change diapers hourly
• Soothe infants by singing to and cuddling them
• Supervise and engage infants on the floor as they play with age-appropriate toys
• Put infants in cribs for nap time
• Ensure play, sleep and changing areas are kept clean

Qualifications for Infant Teacher

• DCF 40 hours prior to hire
• 15 in-service hours- yearly requirement
• CPR and First aid training- prior to hire
• Ability to pass a background check
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds
• Extended periods of time sitting on the floor
• Ability to work a shift in between 8 AM to 5 PM or any time in between
• Great customer service skills to communicate effectively with parents
• Work effectively and professionally with other professionals in the classroom
• Be willing to grow and change as an educator

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
