Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities
- Supervise and engage children in various activities, promoting their social and emotional development
- Assist with maintaining a safe and clean learning environment
- Collaborate with the lead teacher to assess student progress and communicate with parents/guardians
- Help students with tasks such as eating, dressing, and toileting as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a childcare or daycare setting is preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood development and education principles
- Ability to effectively communicate and interact with children, parents, and staff members
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
Skills:
- Classroom management
- Childcare experience
- Infant, Toddler and Preschool care expertise
- Knowledge of childhood development principles
- Early childhood education background
