Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the overall operations of the company. This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Duties:
- Assist the Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring smooth workflow
- Supervise and train staff members to provide excellent customer service
- Manage cash register operations, including handling cash transactions and reconciling cash drawers
- Maintain inventory levels
- Assist with scheduling and coordinating staff shifts
- Resolve customer complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate with the Manager to develop and implement training programs for new hires
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve sales targets
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Perform administrative tasks such as record keeping, filing, and data entry
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant manager role preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficient in using cash registers and handling financial transactions
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Bilingual language skills (preferred)
- Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies
- Ability to negotiate effectively
