Overview: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Store Manager to oversee our retail operations. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth. This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, a customer-centric mindset, and the ability to effectively manage a team. Duties: - Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and maximize profitability - Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock replenishment - Train, coach, and motivate store staff to deliver exceptional customer service - Monitor employee performance and provide regular feedback and performance evaluations - Create and maintain a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and employee engagement - Oversee store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and security measures - Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures - Conduct regular meetings with staff to communicate goals, expectations, and updates - Collaborate with other departments to execute marketing initiatives and promotions - Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities Qualifications: - Previous experience as a Store Manager or similar role in a retail environment - Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth - Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Proficient in using POS systems and other retail software applications - Knowledge of inventory management principles - Ability to analyze sales data and make informed decisions - Strong problem-solving skills - Ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers/vendors Skills: - Price management: Ability to set competitive prices for products based on market trends and profit margins. - Payroll management: Experience in managing employee payroll, including tracking hours worked, calculating wages, and ensuring accuracy. - Negotiation: Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with suppliers/vendors. - Training development: Ability to develop training programs for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge. - POS systems: Proficiency in using Point of Sale (POS) systems to process transactions and manage inventory. - Cash handling: Experience in handling cash transactions, including counting and reconciling cash drawers. - Retail sales: Knowledge of retail sales techniques and strategies to drive sales and meet targets. - Clerk duties: Familiarity with general clerk duties, such as answering customer inquiries, processing returns, and maintaining a clean and organized store. - Buying: Understanding of the buying process, including sourcing products, evaluating suppliers, and negotiating contracts. - Wireless sales: Experience in selling wireless products and services, including mobile phones and data plans.
