Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and flexible Floater to join our team. As a Floater, you will have the opportunity to work in various classrooms and support teachers in providing high-quality education to students. This position requires experience in early intervention, special education, and literacy education. The ideal candidate will have a passion for curriculum development and educating young learners.
Duties:
- Assist teachers in implementing curriculum and lesson plans
- Provide one-on-one support to students with special needs
- Collaborate with teachers to create engaging and inclusive learning environments
- Support students in developing literacy skills through targeted interventions
- Assist with behavior management strategies to ensure a positive classroom environment
- Help maintain a clean and organized classroom space
- Provide support during transitions between activities or classrooms
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the overall success of the program
Experience:
- Previous experience working with students in an educational setting
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques
- Experience in curriculum development is a plus
- Ability to adapt to different classroom environments and teaching styles
