Little Betty Steak Bar is a beautiful steak house style concept in Lane Park in the heart of Mountain Brook, AL . We offer thoughtful and elegant dishes such as A5 Japanese Kobe beef, hand crafted pastas, oysters and crudos. We have warm, unpretentious hospitality under the direction of Chef Kyle Biddy (Catch Steak - NYC/Aspen, Guard and Grace(Denver), Quality Italian(NYC/Denver)) and General Manager Nic Wyatt (Ravello, 28 Court)
Little Betty Steak Bar is seeking a genuinely friendly and professional hospitality-minded Food Runner! We are open for dinner only and offer part/full time positions.
This position reports to the Little Betty Front-of-House Managers but works directly with the chef team. For this position, we are offering competitive pay and tip share.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to customers' tables in a timely manner
-Work directly with the chef to ensure proper call backs and food drop lines
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of food orders
-Set up the Chef's Pass - filling oil bottles, filling butters, replenishing finishing salts, filling pepper grinders, making plate wipes, etc.
- Collaborate with the chef, kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth and efficient service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, kitchen pass, and expo areas.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any concerns or special requests.
Skills:
- Previous experience in a food service or restaurant environment is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation and basic cooking techniques is a plus
- Familiarity with Ambit POS system is a bonus
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in delivering food orders
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with others
