little beans is Hiring an Early Preschool Teacher Near Grants Pass, OR

As a new start up, Little Beans is seeking a passionate and creative Summer Care Preschool Teacher to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a nurturing personality and a keen interest in early childhood development. You will be responsible for crafting educational and engaging activities that foster learning and development for children aged 3 to 5 years. There is availability to have additional hours as a playroom coordinator.

Key Responsibilities:

● Develop and implement appropriate preschool curriculum for young children.

● Conduct daily activities that support and promote the intellectual and social development of children.

● Lead children in activities designed to promote social, physical, and intellectual growth

such as arts and crafts, storytelling, and interactive learning.

● Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing environment for the children.

● Regularly communicate with parents about their children’s progress and milestones.

● Adopt teaching methods and materials to meet the interests and learning styles of children.

● Assess children's individual needs and progress, and provide personalized attention where necessary.

● Coordinate with other staff members to plan and conduct special events and activities

(e.g., Mother's Day crafts, seasonal celebrations).

Requirements:

● Minimum of 2 years of experience working with preschool-aged children.

● Strong understanding of child development and preschool educational methods.

● Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

● Ability to create a high-quality, stimulating classroom environment.

● Enthusiasm for working with young children and the ability to manage classes effectively.

● Ability to problem solve & develop solutions is essential

● Ability to be flexible and open to wearing many hats

● First Aid and CPR certifications are preferred.

● Member of Central Background Registry preferred
