Overview: We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Child Care Director to join our team. As the Child Care Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our child care facility and ensuring the highest quality of care and education for our students. Duties: - Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with licensing regulations and industry standards - Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children - Recruit, hire, train, and supervise child care staff - Provide ongoing support and professional development opportunities for staff - Collaborate with parents to address their concerns and provide updates on their child's progress - Maintain accurate records of enrollment, attendance, and student progress - Manage the budget and financial operations of the child care facility - Plan and organize educational programs and activities that promote the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of children - Ensure that the facility is clean, well-maintained, and equipped with appropriate materials and resources Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (required) - Previous experience in higher education teaching or education administration (preferred) - Experience working with children of various ages in a child care setting - Strong knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to lead a team and work collaboratively with staff, parents, and community members At our child care facility, we offer competitive compensation packages, including health insurance benefits, paid time off, professional development opportunities, and a supportive work environment.
