    Lifeguard/WSI Instructors – Part-Time
    Litchfield Public Schools is currently accepting applications for Lifeguard/WSI Instructors
    Lifeguard and WSI certification is required
    Qualifications:

    • Current Lifeguard and/or WSI, CPR and First Aid Certifications a plus or willingness to invest and attend training.

    • Previous lifeguarding experience desired
    • Able to sit/stand for at least 8 hours
    • Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
    • Ability to work a minimum of 2 shifts (approximately 10 hours) per week
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Punctual

    • Top-notch lifesaving skills

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide CPR/AED to infants, children, adults, first aid techniques and water rescue techniques as needed

    • Acts in emergency situations and provides rescue and first aid assistance up to his or her training level until medical personnel arrive.
    • Responsible for daily maintenance in and around the pool facility as well as locker rooms
    • Enforce pool rules and regulations on a consistent basis to ensure safety

    • Fills out reports for incidents or other records for reference.

    Position Details

    • Hourly rate is dependent on position.

    • Summer activities run approximately from June 3rd to August 23rd
