Job Title: Liquor Store Associate & Shelve Stocker

Job Overview: We are currently seeking a hardworking, reliable, and organized individual to join our team as a Liquor Store Associate. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for stocking shelves, unpacking, and organizing deliveries, with occasional cashier duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Unpack and organize new stock deliveries
• Check-in inventory and ensure the correct delivery was made without any products missing.
• Restock shelves, ensuring products are displayed in a neat and orderly manner and are easily accessible to customers.
• Assist in maintaining store cleanliness, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting as required.
• Rotate stock to ensure older inventory is sold, minimizing waste and maximizing sales.
• Provide excellent customer service by answering queries, making product suggestions, and directing customers to desired products.
• Operate cash registers and handle customer transactions as needed, ensuring all sales comply with local laws and regulations regarding the sale of alcohol.
• Help to maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and legal regulations.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience in beer sales and/or management.
• Strong knowledge of beer styles, breweries, and distributors.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and POS systems.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
