Start time: 3:00am (10-12 hour shifts), lots of overtime available! 

SummaryThe primary function of a Class A CDL Truck Driver / Field Service Technician is to deliver excellent service to customers while representing the Company in a professional and courteous manner. Where the service involved includes the proper servicing of grease traps and/or oil-water separators, used cooking oil collection, non-hazardous industrial wastewater collection and/or food & beverage waste collection.

Job Description:

Liquid Environmental Solutions is seeking a skilled and dedicated CLASS A CDL Tanker Truck Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for hauling an oil/water separator and servicing grease traps. This opportunity involves a mix of local/regional and over-the-road (OTR) routes, offering the flexibility of remote work. Responsibilities:

  • Operate and drive a Class A CDL tanker truck to transport an oil/water separator.
  • Service and maintain grease traps at various customer locations.
  • Ensure the safe and efficient loading and unloading of materials.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and equipment.
  • Adhere to all company policies, safety regulations, and DOT guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate and timely logs and records of all activities.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members.
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
  • Handle routes that include local/regional and over-the-road assignments.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the truck and equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement.
  • Minimum of 2 years of Class A CDL driving experience.
  • Clean driving record with no recent accidents or violations.
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug test.
  • Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance.
  • Experience with hauling oil/water separators and servicing grease traps is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Flexibility to handle a combination of local/regional and OTR routes.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor as required.

During the execution of service the Class A CDL Truck Driver / "FST" I will be responsible to comply with all DOT, state regulations, and Company safety and compliance policies. In addition, the Class A CDL Truck Driver / FST I is responsible to comply with all customer and company-related requirements.

Essential Functions

  • Always work in a safe and compliant manner while driving, performing services, or in any way working for or representing the Company.
  • Make all assigned stops or notify dispatch immediately if a stop is skipped or missed.
  •  Class A CDL Truck Driver / FST I maintains DNS (did not service) to a minimum, calls in for add-ons, and completes full routes for maximum capacity.
  • Clean all assigned grease traps/oil-water separators to specifications and to customer-specific requirements.
  • Must use the tablet technology for each service as required by management.
  • Must gain an adequate understanding and be capable of delivering the grease trap value proposition.
  • Must be capable of completing sludge judge readings as required by the customer.
  • Must complete grease trap inspections for each and every service provided.
  • Must be capable of the safe and proper line jetting of a grease trap or oil-water separator.
  • The industrial Class A CDL Truck Driver / FST must adhere to company policies as it relates to loading non-hazardous materials only.
  • Must complete a daily pre-trip and post-trip using the electronic DVIR system.
  • Must collect, fill out and keep in good order all required paperwork each day
  • Maintain a good driving record for personal and professional driving
  • Maintain a current valid Class A or B CDL license and a tanker endorsement
  • Meet and maintain all DOT and Company physical and medical requirements
  • Complete required safety training
  • Available for on-call rotation as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • One or more years of commercial driving experience (REQUIRED)
  • Current Class A CDL license and tanker endorsement (REQUIRED)
  • Safety minded
  • Ability to operate standard shift transmission
  • Ability to work nights and weekends
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
  • Ability to travel
  • Professional appearance and excellent customer service skills
  • Stable work history – verifiable
  • Experience in logging and recordkeeping

  • High School Graduate or equivalent
