Job Summary

The Plumbing Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that production targets are obtained with an accuracy rate of 90% . Target acquisition is achieved through leadership, training, quality control, and motivation of staff. Job responsibilities include hiring, training, motivating, documenting personnel actions including performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans. Continuing education for self and teams are essential to success in this role. Communication/coordination with staff, vendors, subcontractors, municipalities, suppliers, vendors, and any entity needed to ensure accurate and timely completion of contracted work is completed and collected. Must think critically, thoroughly, be organized, as well as an excellent communicator in writing and verbally.

Create and maintain an expert level of comprehensive knowledge of services, products, processes, software, suppliers, sub-contractors, resources, materials, membership packages, product knowledge, code/compliance and staff management to accelerate opportunities from start to completion.

Job Duties:

· Support and manage 90 or 180 day written plan for each supervised employee to ensure a growth target is established and accomplished.

· Create, promote, motivate, and set the example to achieve production of individual team member KPI’s.

· Develop subordinate and replacement staff resulting in reproduction of department and organization pipeline.

· Perform reviews semi-annually to document the current performance for all employees and recommend promotion, or pay adjustment based upon their demonstrated performance compliant to the position level outlined within job responsibilities and duties.

· Provide daily check in, weekly feedback, and monthly one on one meeting with each team member to maintain acute awareness.

· Conduct client correspondence through utilizing various forms of communication tools; text, calls, and emails to ensure proper expectations are set based upon the invoice, install fulfillment forms, notes,pictures, or verbal direction from sales staff and to ensure accuracy in the delivery of all related services and fulfillment of commitments as promised.

· Train, supervise, and ensure company processes are followed for consistent and uniform delivery among internal and field operations.

· Review timecards for accuracy to performance to ensure accurate compensation is delivered.

· Record accurate information in appropriate software systems. E mail, or text message to ensure client information and correspondence is up to date and is accurate enough so that dependance upon your constant presence is not required. Ie: disseminate control systems so others may act in the absence or delegation from the Install Coach, fulfilling administrative responsibilities wherever they present themselves.

· Supports organization revenue objectives by meeting and exceeding department level KPI’s (i.e. closing %, revenue goals, gross margin contribution, and average ticket).

· Direct supervision of assigned staff with reporting, performance management, and payroll decisions.

· Orders consumables, materials, and supports supply chain systems for the stock and re-stock of inventory for teams/vehicles to ensure efficiency and production.

· Effectively manage conflict resolution with clients through clear communication, addressing all concerns, questions, or problems expediently and to full resolution.

· Responsible for oversite of field installation, quality checks, and service repairs among all plumbing departments (i.e. Drains, Plumbing, Septic, and Excavation).

· As required or directed by the Plumbing Division Manager, complete production service or installation work in support of revenue generation or priority need.

· Conduct weekly Fleet Safety inspections, heavy machinery pre-operational and post operational checks, and support the maintenance and inspection of all division associated tooling and machines.

· Recruit, vet, and present newly proposed team members to the hiring process.

· Create, train, implement, and support a world class safety program. Injuries are indicative of success.

· Ability to follow established processes and procedures at department, division, and organization levels

· Follow decision making criteria, experience, and intuition to create opportunities and wins.

· Mitigate losses through full engagement, good choices, and deference to leadership and policy as appropriate.

· At the request of the leadership, may be required to perform other administrative or other duties to assist with the overall efficiency operationally for the organization.

· Provide, schedule, and or participate in all company sponsored training opportunities.

· Provide team training every Tuesday and Thursday weekly at the direction of the Plumbing Division Manager.

· All other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
