JOB SUMMARY:

LION TotalCare focuses on the cleaning, inspection, and repair of PPE garments.

The Bid Coordinator will play a key role in the TotalCare sales team. This role will support the proactive outreach to our target demographic in search of bid opportunities with the goal of growing the overall TotalCare business.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Proactively reach out to prospective customer for bid opportunities
• Manage bid sites and bid emails
• Manage and track activity in CRM (Salesforce).
• Prepare bids and proposals to be submitted
• Manage contract renewal dates
• Assists in reviewing/advising and preparing appropriate documentation for bid modifications
• Analyze potential risks that bids may pose to the organization
• Report status of current bid processes to management
• Maintains historical information on customer buying habits
• Proactively act on marketing leads
• Assist LTC Sales with quotes and administrative tasks
• Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor degree desired, with accumulated years of experience taken into consideration.
• Ability to build close connections with end-users, LION’s distribution channels and TotalCare team.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and customer relations skills.
• Working knowledge of CRM software.
• Technical skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office, basic email and smartphone.
• Proven skills as a sales support and business development resource.
• Understanding of business acumen and budgeting/ forecasting processes preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

• Highly flexible and able to react constructively and with a positive attitude to multiple demands, shifting priorities, change and unexpected events.
• Hearing and vision required to be within normal ranges with or without correction
• May be required at times to perform light lifting and carrying (30 lbs) and up to 8 hours a day on standing/walking/ driving.
• Required to operate traditional office equipment including computers, copiers, telephones.
